QajacTC Training Camp '08 is an official sanctioned event

Welcome to Training Camp!
- Instruction geared for traditional “Greenland style” paddling. Our proposed 2008 schedule outlines our usual routine.
- This year our featured guest is Greg Stamer. Greg will share his experience from an upcoming circumnavigation of Newfoundland, as well as his 2007 Iceland circumnavigation. Greg is a founding Director of Qajaq USA, and serves as the organization’s President.
- Our 2008 mentors include Michigan-based Diane Carr, Don Goss and Nancy Thornton. Alex Pak joins us from Minnesota. Visiting us from the Walden Qajaq Society is Dan Segal, and from Burlington, Vermont the paddling family of John McConnell, and Emmett Dooley.
Leading the Allunaariaqattaarneq (Inuit Rope Gymnastics) is Dubside.
- Food & Lodging available onsite.
A Thursday afternoon/evening arrival option is available to all attendees.
- Optional aquilisaq workshop is scheduled for Friday, August 22nd starting immediately after breakfast.
Participants should plan on Thursday arrival.
